Alan asked us to create a blog to fill our journal in. He will also ask us to post the answers of the questions inside our blog. In the near future, we also need to post all the stuffs he requested inside our blog.

We are required to post the answers to the questions on the blog, so here goes:

1. Who are you telling the story for (primary audience)?
· Teenager and young adults (13-21)
· They would usually watch cartoon like Family Guy and The Simpsons

2. What reaction do you want?
· Laughter
· Slight disgust

3. Is the narrative omniscient (all seeing) or restrictive (viewed from a single perspective)?(If the narrative is restrictive, whose viewpoint are you using?)
· omniscient

4. List the important events of the story.
· Bin Wit Bum (Dim Wit Dumb) had to attend a major court hearing due to extreme debts.
· He presented a wrong ‘liquid assets’ when the court asked him to present an evidence.
· The court decided to cancel the hearing and overturn the evidence.
· He misunderstood and overturn the bottle of ‘liquid assets’ and emptied its contents all over the lawyer desk in the process.
· One month later, the proceedings restarted.
· The court asked why he had faulty hearing and there are holes in front of his house.
· He blame it on his Nintendo Wii Gun
· The judge asked whether he is brandishing any real gun.
· Dim Wit Dumb responded by pulling out a real gun and started open firing in the courtroom.
· A pigeon was harmed during the session.
· Dim Wit Dumb was sentenced to prison.
· However, he had successfully infected his inmates thinking process.
· The inmates ended up urinating on the courtroom on the day of his release.

5. Which aspects of the setting of the story are important (time of day… location… period of history…) and how do you intend to establish these important elements?
· Location: Courtroom
· Period of history: October 2007, November 2007.
· The period will be established by having the date displayed in a typewritten style every time the courtroom session is starting.
· There will also be a short scene at the beginning with newspaper declaring that Dim Wit Dumb is bankrupt and had to attend court session

6. What traits of the characters in your story are important and how do you intend to establish these traits?
· Mentally disturbed ( can be inferred from his face and throughout the story)
· Portrayed as a rich figure as he appeared in the news at the beginning of the story. He also had 2 “Nintendo Wii Gun”.

7. In what order are the important events (step 4 above) covered? Is it a strictly linear sequence of events in time, or does the story contain any flashbacks or other interruptions to the sequence of events?
· Story to be told linearly, without flashbacks

8. How does the story flow, does the pace change? Does it contain a surprise? Consider your answers to 1 and 2 above when making your response.
· Pace of the story does not change
· Element of surprise

9. How will you use sound to help all your responses to 5-8 above?
· Crowd talking could be heard as the court started to show presence of witnesses. Crowd uproar could be heard when he overturn the liquid assets and shooting of the gun to show the court is in chaos (even though the crowd will not be shown).
· The inmate will not be shown urinating however a black screen will appear the moment he took off his pants. Water sfx ,“slight” cursing, and dialogue will be used. This is because the whole scene may be rated RA if it is fully shown.

10. Does your story need dialog? (write out the dialog)
· Dialogue will be used throughout.
· Judge: “Mr Dim Wit Dumb, I mean Bin Wit Bum, would you please declare your liquid assets?”
· Judge: “What is this?”
· Dim Wit Dumb: “Well, you wanted liquid assets, right? I thought you were referring to the liquid that sometimes comes out of my ass.”
· Judge: “ The court will overturn the evidence”
· Dim Wit Dumb : “ urmmm… overturn..? okay…”
· Judge : “Silence in the courtroom! Silence!! Silence!!!”
· Judge : “Mr. Dumb, would you please explain the holes in front of your house?”
· Dim Wit Dumb: “Why, it’s because of this Nintendo Wii gun.”
· Judge: “Are you by chance brandishing any real weapons?”
· Dim Wit Dumb: “Nah… I ain’t got nothing else besides this here toy gun. You see, it just shoots blanks”
· Dim Wit Dumb: “See you matey”
· Inmate : “thanks man, I learned a lot of valuable lessons from you man. You have been a great inmate”
· Judge: “Holy Shit”
· Random A : “Jesus C…”
· Judge: “Can someone please stop him from urinating inside the court room?!!”

after finishing it, i sent the email address to Alan, I guess that is all for the day. I still have to think about the learning contract.
